Free Art Portrait – Photo Critique
Time: Jun 9, 2020 (7 pm CET, 1pm EST, 10 am PST)
Instead of always me showing my art portrait photos and explaining how I shot and edited them, why don’t we do it the other way around? You submit a photo, then I (plus the other participants) give constructive criticism and discuss it in a friendly atmosphere.
Requirements and rules:
- You submit your photos (by uploading it to the Facebook event – Discussion section) or Meetup group platform. https://www.facebook.com/events/2587789654817015/
- Submission deadline, 9 June 2020, (3 pm CET, 9am EST, 6 am PST).
- The photos must be portraits, preferably with off-camera flash.
- When your photos are selected, you explain how you shot them (lighting setup, camera settings, composition, etc.)
- We will discuss different aspects of the photos, so you can improve and the audience can learn at the same time.
- Photography is art. We have to consider it when giving and receiving feedback.
- Nobody's perfect. We always learn from each other.
- You don’t need to submit a photo to attend. You can just join the discussion, and it is open for non-photographers.
This event is free and it will last for approximately 1 hour. You need to register to get the link to the Zoom conference. Use the code 'free' when registering.
