Acteur Hubert Damen (o.a. bekend van ‘Witse’) en pianist Jan Michiels (laureaat Kon. Elisabethwedstrijd 1991) brengen in de kapel van de Grauwzusters van Tienen (Gilainstraat) een bijzonder boeiende voorstelling. Ze laten grote componisten als Johann Sebastian Bach en Béla Bartók in dialoog gaan met grote dichters als Guido Gezelle en Paul van Ostaijen.
Jan Michiels verklankt de meerstemmigheid, expressie en kleur van de componisten, Hubert Damen verwoordt de manier waarop de dichters hun persoonlijke en zintuiglijke ervaringen boven de rationaliteit plaatsen.
Een unieke kans om twee meesters in hun vak aan het werk te zien en te horen.
Het concert vindt plaats in de Kapel van de Grauwzusters (Kabbeekklooster), Gilainstraat 104, te Tienen, terecht omschreven als een verborgen parel in deze stad.
